For the family
Based on a series of large interlocking squares, this garden has six parasol trees lining a lawn area with water features and seat. The feature steps draw on architectural lines from the house, leading to patio area. Rough grass, wildflowers and bulbs help the design blend with the orchard beyond. A play area and zip wire provide fun for all the family.

Based on a series of large interlocking squares, this garden has six parasol trees lining a lawn area with water features and seat. The water bowl overflows into decorative stones underneath. The feature steps draw on architectural lines from the house, leading up to a new patio area with in-out paving and the existing decking. Rough grass, wildflowers and bulbs line the lawn further away from the house to create a more naturalistic feel, and blend the designed area with orchard to the south. The retaining wall removes a big slope to level the ground. A play area and zip wire provide entertainment for all the family. Planting is kept simple and restricted to three or four ornamental grasses and perennials on request of the client. Beach hedging and evergreen planting provides structure where needed.
